After you download the ISO using Media Creation Tool you can make bootable DVD but it is a process that when you burn the DVD you do it with a program that installs the boot information on to the DVD. This is the standard program in Windows 10. To make a bootable USB you have to use Rufus to get the boot information on to the stick. You can also just load the ISO on to the USB stick with out making it bootable. To use this you put it into a running computer and in File Explorer you open the file and select Setup.

I used Macrium Reflect to make a complete image of my hard drive, to prepare for the day when the drive crashes.
